The K-Jetronic system is a mechanical gasoline injection system installed on many car manufacturers, including Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, and others, from the 1970s to the 1990s.

It is composed of a set of components that work in perfect harmony with each other, ensuring the proper functioning of the entire injection system.

It is a highly reliable system when in perfect working order; however, lack of maintenance, the dirt released by the gasoline, and prolonged downtime can cause it to deteriorate. With thorough cleaning of the entire system and an overhaul of all components, the engine will roar again.

Overhauling just a few components of the entire system will not fully restore its functionality and will not provide sufficient reliability. Indeed, it will require repeated downtime, resulting in additional costs.

Symptoms of a malfunctioning KE Jetronic system may include: poor cold starts, poor hot starts, poor car performance, heavy black smoke, heavy petrol smell, unstable engine speed, engine stalling while driving, engine stuttering during acceleration, detonation, petrol leaks, backfiring (intake explosions), and high fuel consumption.

Both K and KE injectors cannot be overhauled. They can only be restored with a special flushing treatment. Their condition is determined by the functional tests.

Yes, of course, you can ship the entire system, including the pipes, for cleaning or replacement if damaged. Shipments can also be made from abroad. Register (request) a list with photos of all the components that make up the entire system.

The time for overhauling a single component can vary from one to four days depending on whether the same code is present in our warehouse. For the entire system, it depends on the extent of the overhaul and what needs to be restored. A restoration service is also available for those customers who want not only to restore the injection but also to restore the aesthetics to their original state, in any case, it ranges from five to twenty days.
